How Long Does it Take to Build a Website?

When asking for a client's expectation for a timeline to develop and launch of their website, without fail, we anticipate the answer to always be " Yesterday". Having reasonable expectations for development of a custom website is essential. To hurry any critical aspect of design, development, coding and uploading of content should be avoided. The time it takes to develop a website is determined by a number of factors such as complexity of design, custom programming, and feedback from our client. We have had website’s take as little as 6-8 weeks while others have taken much longer. To ensure an expedited timeline, we rely on your participation and timely feedback on items that you will be responsible for. These items include design feedback, specific copy that you wish to provide (note that this can be minimized as we have copywriters on staff that can develop SEO friendly copy), and technical information such as domain information, where notification emails will be sent, etc.
